Embark on a guided week-long hut-to-hut skiing adventure in Finland’s remote Käsivarsi wilderness, a region of breathtaking arctic landscapes. Traverse snowy fells, enjoy cozy nights in heated huts, and explore the pristine wilderness far north of the Arctic Circle. This tour, which runs from December to mid-May, combines rugged outdoor experience with some comforts like hut accommodations and occasional marked trails.

• Summit Finland’s Highest Point: Reach Halti (1,324m), the highest peak in Finland.
• Authentic Arctic Camping: While nights are spent in huts, you’ll carry tents and gear as a safety measure and have the option to try wild camping.
• Solitude and Scenic Views: During the polar night, it’s rare to meet others, while in spring, you’ll find more travelers along the main trails.
• Cultural Experience: Start and end in Kilpisjärvi, enjoying a Finnish sauna and restaurant meals.
Included in the Tour Price (€1570 per person, VAT included)
• Transportation: Round-trip airport transfers from Tromsø.
• Accommodation: Wilderness huts without electricity or running water, with hotel accommodation (including sauna) in Kilpisjärvi at the start and end.
• Meals: Full board with three meals per day.
• Skiing Equipment: Backcountry skis, poles, pulkkas, and NNN BC binding-compatible ski boots (provide shoe size during booking).
• Camping and Safety Gear: Includes sleeping bags, tents for emergencies, cooking equipment, and a safety satellite phone.
• Guiding: Experienced guides will ensure a safe, memorable trip and provide insights into arctic wilderness skills.
Difficulty
• Polar Night (December - February): Difficulty 4/5 due to limited daylight, extreme temperatures, and solitude.
• Spring (Late February - May): Difficulty 3/5 with longer daylight hours and slightly milder conditions. Expect more people in late April’s high season.

• Airport Transfers: The starting point is Tromsø Airport. Transfers are scheduled for arrivals by 18:50 on Saturdays and departures no earlier than 11:00 the following Saturday.
