Halti Wild Camping Ski Expedition – Arctic Spring Edition
Halti Wild Camping Ski Expedition – Arctic Spring Edition
Max group: 6 persons | Minimum age: 18
Overview
Venture deep into the open fells of the Arctic spring, where the snow glitters under endless daylight and every night is spent in your own tent on the open plateau.
This is a true expedition-style journey across the Käsivarsi Wilderness: self-sufficient, remote, and rewarding. Over six days you’ll pull your own sled (pulkka), set up camp in wild locations, and ski across high terrain under changing Arctic light.
The route differs from the classic Halti tour – focusing on open, exposed fell areas and emphasizing the raw, untamed beauty of the north. Early April brings stable snow and long days, but conditions can still be challenging, with possible storms and strong winds.
