Discover the vast and secluded wilderness of Lemmenjoki National Park on this one-week backcountry skiing adventure through ancient boreal forests, frozen rivers, and rolling fells of Finnish Lapland.

Perfect for those seeking solitude and immersion in true wilderness, this tour combines cozy wilderness huts, scenic ski routes, and the chance to learn traditional Arctic winter skills.

Available for private groups of up to six people, with guaranteed departures every year around New Year and throughout January–February. Private departures are also possible until early April.

  • Accommodation: Traditional wilderness log cabins (without electricity) during the tour, plus comfortable sauna cabins at start and finish.

  • Meals: Full board with hearty Finnish dishes and daily campfire lunches.

  • Equipment: All expedition gear (excluding personal clothing).

  • Guiding: Experienced English-speaking wilderness guide (Finnish/German on request).

  • Transfers: Round-trip airport transfers from Ivalo (Kittilä available on request).

Airport Transfers

 

The tour begins and ends at Ivalo Airport. Flight schedules vary slightly from year to year, but there are typically morning, afternoon, and late-evening arrivals.

Our group transfer is always arranged to meet the evening flight arriving around 19:00.

 

Return transfers align with Saturday flights departing after 11:00.
